-Growth Exceeds 20%

In a move that further underlines its dominant position in the interim HR market, Digby Morgan, has made three strategic appointments in its subsidiary interim company, HR Interims.

In addition, the company has added two new faces in its contingent HR recruitment company, HR Resourcing, that focuses on entry to mid level appointments.

Gordon Whyte has joined the company to head up HR Interims. Gordon was previously Associate Director for Michael Page in Sydney where he led one of the company’s most successful divisions covering both permanent and contract appointments.

Commenting on his appointment, Gordon Whyte said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be returning to the UK after several years away. And to join the industry market leader at what is such an exciting period in the company’s history and growth is hugely exciting and I’m eagerly looking forward to the challenge of leading the interims company”.

HR Interims is also pleased to welcome Stephanie Casbolt who has joined the company from Digby Morgan’s Sydney-based Australian affiliate, Staffing and Exec, where she was a consultant specialising in the contract market.

Finally, Suzanne Evans joins HR Interims under Digby Morgan’s graduate scheme. Suzanne is a graduate in Medieval and Modern History from the University of Birmingham.

“In 2006 to date, the Digby Morgan Group has increased the headcount of fee earning consultants by in excess of 25% and we fully anticipate that we will be adding still further to this figure in the very near future,” said John Maxted, Digby Morgan’s Chief Executive. “I believe absolutely that this stunning growth reflects not only our own specific success, but the growing acceptance and appreciation of the role HR plays in corporate life today.

“In particular, it parallels the continuing rise of the interim appointment and the strategically important role it can play in a company’s success. The quality of our new consultants and the appointment of a new head to our own interim company means that we’re ideally placed to see, and exploit, yet more significant growth”.

James Sandler joins HR Resourcing from Ruella James the leading ‘rec-to-rec’ consultancy. James, a sports science graduate from the University of Surrey has previously worked in the IT recruitment market and has also been a senior sales executive with Soccerex. Commenting on his decision to join the company, James said: "With a couple of jobs under my belt I felt that I was ready to move up and face the challenges of working for what is the leading HR recruitment business in Europe. It’s a really exciting industry right now and I’m looking forward to helping the company further exploit the opportunities in this burgeoning market."

Zoë Partos has also joined HR Resourcing as an Associate Consultant under the company's graduate scheme. Zoë graduated from the University of Exeter in 2005 with a BA in Sociology.
