Senior Consultants Join Digby
-Morgan’s
London Office |
In
a move that reflects a gradual resurgence in
the demand for talented HR professionals across
all sectors in the UK, Digby Morgan, the UK’s
leading specialist HR search and selection consultancy,
has made two senior and strategic appointments
in its London head office.
Danielle
Huber joins Digby Morgan as a consultant in
the company’s interim appointments team.
Prior to joining Digby Morgan, Danielle spent
five years with Hudson’s Executive HR
teams in Sydney, Dubai and, latterly, in London.
Danielle has worked across a range of industries
in all of these regions including financial
services, energy and utilities, transport and
infrastructure and the public sector.
Commenting on her appointment, Danielle said:
"Having spent some years in the HR recruitment
sector in Australia, the Middle East and Europe,
I’m genuinely excited to be joining what
is undoubtedly the market leader in all three
of those regions.”
Michael
Semark is the second of the new senior appointments
and joins Digby Morgan's London office as a
senior consultant in the company’s permanent
hires team.
Michael has spent nearly 20 years in recruitment
with a focus on the HR space over the last ten
years. Having enjoyed a successful career with
both Michael Page and the Hudson Group, he set
up his own practice, People Matter, focussing
on HR recruitment and ran this business for
five years developing a strong reputation for
service orientated HR recruitment.
Digby Morgan’s founder and CEO, John Maxted,
is, understandably, delighted with these new
senior hires and the prospects for 2010.
“We’ve spent more than two decades
growing Digby Morgan into one of the largest
specialist consultancies of its kind and I’ve
never experienced trading conditions for the
recruitment sector as tough as they have been
over the course of the last 18 months. However,
we’re definitely now seeing a gradual
and cautious return of some confidence in the
HR recruitment sector and, although we expect
it to continue to be a challenging year ahead,
we are continuing to invest in our own talent.
With that in mind, I’m delighted to welcome
these two highly experienced consultants to
our ranks and look forward to working with them
in 2010 and beyond.”
