-New Faces at Digby Morgan

In addition to the new team members that have joined the company lately to spearhead Digby Morgan’s regional expansion (see separate story), the company has not been standing still with regard to head count at its central London head office.

In a move that reflects the burgeoning demand for HR professionals across all sectors in the UK, Digby Morgan has made a senior and strategic appointment in its Commerce division.

Beate Vogt joins the company as a senior consultant from her present position as a director at Executives Online, the interim executive recruitment consultancy. An extremely experienced consultant with an MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, Beate has more than 10 years experience in the recruitment sector including spells with Magna Consulting and running her own consultancy, Welbeck Partners. Prior to entering the recruitment sector, Beate worked in strategy consulting for the financial services sector in the City of London and Frankfurt, the financial nerve centre in her home country of Germany.

Nicola Grimshaw, Digby Morgan’s director running the Commerce division, said: "Beate is joining the team at a very exciting time in our development as 2007 continues to be extremely buoyant with many clients feeling quite confident and working on expanding their HR teams. This demand means that we’re looking at another record year for the Commerce division and we’re delighted to welcome Beate to the team at this time. Her specific experience will be a real asset and we’re fully expecting to exploit her extensive experience to boost our profile still further. “

Commenting on her appointment at Digby Morgan, Beate Vogt, added: “Having worked in the recruitment industry for many years, I’ve been more than aware of the leading position held by Digby Morgan within the HR sector. Its longevity and continuing success is hugely impressive and I’m delighted to be joining the company and look forward to helping take the company forward in the next phase of its growth.”

Graduate Programme

Finally, two new junior consultants have joined the company on its graduate training programme.

Kate Rees, who recently graduated in History from Reading University, and Rachel Weymouth, a graduate of Bristol University where she studied Experimental Psychology and Philosophy, have both joined Digby Morgan’s contingent HR recruitment division that focuses on entry to mid level appointments.
