-New
Consultants Join Digby Morgan’s
-London
and Thames Valley Offices |
Flying in the face of recent negative sector
news and in a move that reflects the continuing demand
for talented HR professionals across all sectors in
the UK, Digby Morgan has made further senior and strategic
appointments in its London and Thames Valley offices.
Digby
Morgan's 1st anniversary in the Thames Valley is being
celebrated by the arrival of two experienced new consultants.
Lee Krawczyk-Brown has joined Digby Morgan’s
Thames Valley office as a senior consultant in the
company’s interim appointments team. Prior to
joining Digby Morgan, Lee was with David Chorley International
and, latterly, Davis Green where he spent six years
as a Manager. Lee's specialism is within the interim
sector where his clients have included some major
blue chips as well as a number of niche and SME organisations.
Debbie
Ranwell has also joined the Thames Valley team. Debbie,
who previously ran her own boutique recruitment business
in the region, joins the company in the team responsible
for placing entry to mid level HR professionals.
Commenting on her appointment, Debbie said:
"I’m looking forward to contributing to
the continued success of the Thames Valley office
and especially to consolidating my knowledge and experience
of recruiting in the Reading area in a challenging
but exciting market phase. Knowing that I am joining
the premier specialist in HR recruitment is especially
confidence inspiring as I know that in testing times,
Digby Morgan's significant expertise will be absolutely
crucial to the ongoing commercial success of the region"
Digby
Morgan's London office has also been adding to its
experienced ranks and Julie Nicol has joined as a
consultant in the London team responsible for placing
entry to mid level HR professionals. Julie spent the
last three years at Hanson Search working on specialising
in marketing communications recruitment and is delighted
to be joining the HR sector leader.
"With a couple of jobs under my belt I felt that
I was ready to move up and face the challenges of
working for what is the leading HR recruitment business
in Europe,” said Julie. “It’s a
really exciting industry right now and I’m looking
forward to helping the company further exploit the
opportunities in this still buoyant market."
Lindsay
Holland has been appointed as a consultant and joins
the London team looking after HR professionals from
entry to mid level. Lindsay spent the last four and
a half years working for Allen Associates, an independent
Oxfordshire consultancy. She joined the company as
a trainee in 2004 and enjoyed seeing the company and
their reputation go from strength to strength. Lindsay
contributed heavily to the growth of their Marketing
and PR division, although the company also had other
divisions in HR, Finance and PA/Administration. Having
gained a strong introduction to the recruitment industry,
she felt the time was right to join a bigger agency
with a different specialism and was particularly attracted
to the HR industry. Lindsay is excited about using
her experience to develop relationships with clients
and candidates, old and new, and continue to expand
her knowledge of the HR profession as a whole.
Alister
Jenkins graduated from the University of Nottingham
in 2006 after reading philosophy. After travelling
and working for a while in Switzerland, Alister began
his career in recruitment in the IT sector. After
seven months with his first recruitment company, he
began to look at other options within the industry.
After attending the associate consultant day at Digby
Morgan, Alister was convinced that HR recruitment,
and Digby Morgan in particular, was the best place
to progress and build his long term career.
“With just a few months experience in recruitment,
I was pleasantly surprised with Digby Morgan’s
approach and how everyone was so genuinely friendly
and seemed to really enjoy their work” said
Alister. “The associate consultant day was very
enjoyable and stress free and I was very quickly sold
on the role and the ethics and principles of the company.
I’m looking forward to bringing some of the
skills I have learnt within recruitment to my new
role and also learning lots of new techniques to further
develop my candidate and client relationship skills.”
