-New Faces

In a move that reflects the burgeoning HR market, Digby Morgan has made further senior and strategic appointments in both its City and Commerce divisions.

Catherine Osaigbovo, who’s joined the company from Morgan Spencer, has more than 12 years experience in the recruitment sector including spells with Kelly Services, the HW Group and the Zarak Group. A Philosophy & Politics graduate, Catherine has joined Digby Morgan’s City team to focus on permanent senior talent hires within the financial and professional services sectors.

Dona Battat, the Digby Morgan director responsible for the City division, said: "Catherine has joined the team at a very exciting time in our development. The City is going through an extraordinary and sustained period of growth and, with the current insatiable demand for good HR people with a growing range of HR skills, we are anticipating even greater expansion as the year unfolds”.

Commerce Growth

Business is just as brisk over in Digby Morgan’s Commerce division and, in order to help meet this demand, the company has recruited another experienced consultant, Holly Gillette, to focus on permanent senior talent hires across all commercial sectors. Holly has been working in recruitment for several years, the last six in specialist HR recruitment gained from within a niche consultancy based in Windsor, Berkshire where she focused on both permanent and interim roles across a wide range of sectors. Prior to working in HR recruitment, Holly's career started in HR itself with a psychometric profiling company.

Nicola Grimshaw, Digby Morgan’s director running the Commerce division, said: “The first quarter of 2007 has seen an extremely buoyant market in our sector with many clients feeling quite confident and working on expanding their HR teams. This demand means that we’re looking at another record year for the Commerce division and we’re delighted to welcome Holly to the team at this time - her specific experience will be a real asset”.

“2007 is already looking to be another exceptional year for the Digby Morgan Group,” added company CEO, John Maxted. “Now, as part of the Vedior Group, we are well placed continue our growth in London as well as developing our business nationally and internationally through the Vedior Group’s global network.

“We’re also adding more new faces in all areas across the Group”, continued John Maxted. “Laurel Wise, who recently graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA in English Literature, joins us as an Associate on our graduate training scheme and we’re also delighted to announce the appointment of Jacquie Beck as our new Chief Financial Officer”.

Jacquie has 20 years experience of working in finance and joins Digby Morgan from Language Line, the leading UK provider of telephone interpreting services. She has also worked for other well-known service companies including Earls Court and Olympia and Conran Restaurants.

Another new face at Digby Morgan is Louisa Clarke, who joins the company in the role of CEO John Maxted’s Executive Assistant. After completing her PA Diploma, Louisa worked at a business centre providing a comprehensive secretarial service to both physical tenants and virtual clients. Louisa then spent sometime as a residential housemistress at Roedean School before relocating to London at the beginning of this year and joining Digby Morgan.
